Fiesta Time !! ME ME MI MI !!

We had a Relief Society / Young Women Enrichment night....we had enchiladas, different salsas....the Mango was awesome!!!. Was hesitant at first but definately a must ... pineapple and mango. Muy Bueno !!

After we had a program on Me (you) and the lies the media feeds us... too awesome...We know it but we still feed into it. We need to accept ourselves for ourselves not what we think we want to be...me?? I was so inspired...I started back on my diet... to eat more healthy.

I think he's become addicted !!!

 Took Jeff shopping the other day, that would be grocery shopping. I don't think we have done that in probably 7-8 years. We have done the run in and get this or that, but not the let's go down every aisle.

We did the shop the specials...We did not do too bad.. Spent our money but saved less than 20 dollars from what we spent. for example we could of spent 120 dollars and saved 100 dollars....because before coupons and sales  the bill was 220.  We get to do it again next month.... Isn't that just too cool.....(I need a life if I grocery shopping is the hightlight of my day...)

When we went our quest for Box Canyon, it was also to search for coveys of quail.....well I found a large band.....on the golf course, on the way to Le's school.  The lady in front of me was "braking" for them to cross the road.....I almost ran her over in my quest to "get them". I had visions of not having to figure out what would be for dinner....roasted quail of course...did not happen... we had mish mash of leftovers. Dang it !!!

Tick Tock, Tick Tock It's Coming !!!!

                             We are counting down, 10...9...8...7...6... until it is time for start-up again.

You thought that meant long hours before... just you wait. At least for the days before...end of this week and a few days after...Labor Day.  It will be mass chaos and "shooting from the hip" until things are up and running smooth.  I guess you can still say that I am a "work widow" and Le is a "orphan"

Fridays.....worse than Monday?

Are Fridays worse than Mondays? On mondays life is busy, busy but you have 4 more days to get things done. On Fridays, while it is nice they are here it is crunch time you HAVE to get it finish today. It's a heck of a day for us procrastinators, Then the weekend comes and we think about everything from friday we pushed to monday. I vote for Saturdays...they seem the safest.

Rain, Rain, go away, no! wait !

It has been teasing us the last few days, the rain that is. We get one or 5 sprinkles and that is it. Last night it did rain some, enough to make a paste on the cars and muggy for the morning air. Would it not just be grand if it would just downpour? We can use the water for sure, but more so it brings back the memories of playing in the nice warm rain. It is the small pleasures in life that feed the memories.

~Mocktail Monday ~

What makes Mondays bearable?? MOCKTAILS !!! Mondays are the day that we pull out the blender and make our mocktails. Makes the weekends seem a little longer. Now we just need to cover the rest of the week.

What kind of parent am I ?

I think I have given Le too much control... she can sign herself out of school, has an early release and calls the security officers--bouncers....

We are just pushing through--things look like they may be "clicking" into place. Click #1 Renters have moved into Ohio home--(did have issue with fridge --did not want to start back up) Click #2 Le has a school schedule (they did not give her Government-mandatory-schedule being adjusted) Click#3 Found place to take moving boxes to be recycled (still need to take them--full garage) Click #4 Took care of miscellaneous tasks--bills, utilities, taxes (still have many coming up) Click #5 Jeff's job is going good, has a family life (that is subject to change, start up is less than 1 month away) Click #6 We are adjusting to being back in Arizona (no comment on this one, just we are glad to be back)
