Tina and Jeff will be in PHX March 11th - 14th.

Go West Young Man!!

Go West Young Man is the cry David is hearing right now. He is getting his vehicle ready to travel to Casper Wyoming. He is going to try his luck there. So our house right now is in a bit of a turmoil, lots and lots of boxes.

Food Storage

Will be busy this week and next trying to help get a Provident Living class started on Food Storage. Nothing fancy just the everyday stuff. Mac n Cheese, Spaghetti, no long term stuff right now. Hopefully this will help people to look ahead and especially with the job market the way it is right now.

MIA

I have been missing in action the last few days. We got another batch of snow and another 5lbs of salt for it too, complements of the city. Been busy with church things. Did you know we had a couple plan to get married on Sunday and was Married by Saturday?! Was a busy Saturday for me. Can't wait for warmer weather.

Tuesday Again !!

This Tuesday I need this day more than anything. I am grateful that after all the layoffs we are still employed. I am grateful that my family is sooo adaptable. I am thankful that I have things to occupy my day. I am thankful that no matter how stress out I am I can still laugh. I am thankful that I was put here to be tried and am thankful that I can learn from those trials. I am blessed by having a great family.

Welcome Tyler and Kori

This is my first blog, I guess this means I am beginning to join the rest of you in the 21st century. David is planning to visit Wyoming - thanks Tyler he still may head that way if things don't work out for him. David will spend a few more days here in Ohio getting his vehicle ready to travel then back out on his own. He is no stranger to travel he would routinely make 2000 mile round trips between Ohio and North Carolina while living here. As most of you know I was not much different than him at his age. At 16 I was all over the southwest and have been in some situations but the big difference would be that I was nearly always armed. Today if David was to travel with a weapon, the laws have changed so much that he would have just as much to fear from the law as the bad guys.

Can you see the Snowflakes?

Front View of the House, the fuzz is large fluffy snowflakes

Happy Valentines Day !

Mother Nature played into the Valentine Day message. Doesn't a cold snowy day make a great Valentines Day? Snuggling up with a fire and doing "nothing" all day. Just Perfect

Wacky Wednesday

Wednesdays are my rough day. Busy, Busy, Busy. Le actually gave blood today WITH OUT passing out. The girl insists on donating, but passes out everytime. Do you know they let you donate even if you are on pain meds. Left my house at 7:15 but go home at 8:40 like this every Wednesday, but would not change it for any reason.

What's that Green Stuff?

The Snow actually melted in areas of the yard and underneath was some funny green stuff---I think they call it grass. Can't be sure since last time we saw it was in October, I think.

Miss Informed

Okay so the class was cooking WITH OUT sugar. Still was an interesting class, never heard of brown rice sugar. See old people can learn new things. The granola was awesome. I even liked the soy bread--very moist.

Keep Learning

I have found a great outlet to learn new things and it doesn't cost anything, It's called the Library. I have taken different classes, sign, breadmaking, budgeting, sugarless cooking, herbs, financial planning, coin collecting just to name a few. Tomorrow I am doing the cooking with sugar. Just what i need sugar and more sugar with Valentines day coming up!

Happy Birthday !!

Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my Sis on the 9th of this month and my Brother the 13th. Wishing you both the best of Birthdays and wishes. Love you peoples and miss you all bunches.
Who would of thunk it! We were told we would get 3 inches of snow Tuesday night and We walked out to aprox 7 inches. It was a nice -4 degrees and today it is a balmy 38, by monday we are to be in the 50's. This is the reason my car looks like I am running away from home. Jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats, etc.

More Snow???

Rumor is that we have had 59 inches of snow since October 31st. It is due to snow again--tonight. It was a nice 38 degrees for the last 2 days and due to be 17 degrees. BRRR..... But of course school will not be closed until it is in the negative degrees.... We went from ice to water puddles in one day. Go figure!!!
Well it's official we have moved into the tech age and now have a blog. Rowden's Ramblings. We will talk about ramblings of our lives.
